From the historic secrets of Shakespeare’s Italy to the secret lives of the world’s ultimate predator, the crocodile, BBC Worldwide Channels today unveiled its Winter season of programmes exclusive to BBC Knowledge viewers in Italy. The exciting line-up presents the first and exclusive airing of the very best of British factual programming, which will spark amazing ideas, examine big ideas and open minds to incredible experiences.

- Continuing its commitment to deliver access to the very best British talent, BBC Knowledge follows world-class actor and comedian Michael Palin as he visits Brazil for the very first time, in Brazil With Michael Palin. Travelling from the lost world of Amazonia to the buzzing metropolis of Rio de Janeiro, Michael meets the people and visits the places that shape this incredible nation.
- Through its ambitious landmark seasons, BBC Knowledge strives to explore life’s big questions. This Winter, the channel will explore the realities of the modern warfare in its War On The Frontline season, asking ‘What does it mean to be a soldier in today’s World?’ Airing exclusively in Italy for the very first time, Our War - 10 Years In Afghanistan is a raw and revealing insight into modern warfare and the experiences of soldiers today.
