BBC Worldwide is proud to announce CBeebies Live! The Big Band, the brand new live arena show from the producers of Justin & Friends.  This music-themed extravaganza is bound to have pre-schoolers rocking in the aisles when the show sets out on tour over Easter 2014, visiting nine cities across the UK.  Tickets go on general sale on Friday 28th June and full details can be found at www.bbcliveshows.com

Warming up their vocal chords and practising their scales for this spectacular show are some of CBeebies’ best-loved characters including Justin Fletcher MBE and his alter ego Mr Tumble, Mister Maker and – making his CBeebies Live! debut – gardener extraordinaire, Mr Bloom.  Also, taking leave from their tropical island to bring their unique musical sound to CBeebies Live! are ZingZillas.  Additional cast members will be announced later in the year.

Justin Fletcher said: “I am so pleased… this is going to be a fantastic show with great production values. It’ll be great to share the stage with my CBeebies friends and see the audience join in the fun!”

Phil Gallagher, better known as Mister Maker, returns to CBeebies Live! for his second tour: “I first performed with CBeebies Live! in 2012 and I’m delighted to be returning for the 2014 tour, “ he commented.  “I think the ‘big band’ theme is going to be great fun.”

Ben Faulks who plays Mr Bloom added:  “It’s really exciting to be joining the cast of CBeebies Live!  This will be my first experience of an arena tour and I’m particularly looking forward to playing  Manchester.  The Arena is a HUGE space and I’m sure it’s going to be very memorable.”

CBeebies Live! The Big Band is produced by the creative team behind the hugely popular Justin & Friends 2013 Easter Tour which was attended by over 105,000 people.  Tickets for the upcoming tour have been held at 2013 prices with tickets priced from £13.00 for children, with family tickets from £52.00 (for four people and subject to booking fee).  For tickets and the most up to date tour information visit www.bbcliveshows.com
