BBC Worldwide Asia Adds Four New Hires

Based in Singapore, they will travel throughout the region to support BBC Worldwide Asia’s businesses in Greater China, India, Korea, Japan and South East Asia.
The four new additions are:
Laura Byrnes, VP, Head of Business and Legal Affairs for Asia was previously Director, Legal & Business Affairs for NBC Universal Asia Pacific. Prior to Universal, she worked for BSkyB and Turner/Time Warner. Laura reports to Robin Chalmers, Director of Business and Legal Affairs, Global Markets, UK and Australasia.
Laura Roscoe, HR Business Partner, Asia was previously at Barclays where she had been running their Asian employee engagement programme. She has worked as a HR Business Partner in both the UK and Asia. Laura reports to Sarah Robinson, Head of HR, Global Markets.
Amit Arora, Head of Business Development, Asia will take on a strategy and business development brief across the region. He joins from Delta Partners, a specialist telecom, media and technology consultancy and has over a decade’s experience in media and telecoms. He previously worked for Turner Broadcasting and Time Warner Cable in the US. Amit reports to Nick Percy, Director of Business Development and Digital, Global Markets.
James Wildbore joins as VP Finance, Asia and will be responsible for developing and managing Asia finances as well as providing commercial, operational, business developmental and strategic direction for the business. James is currently Executive Director, Finance, Media Networks (Southeast Asia) with Disney in Singapore. James reports to Grant Welland, Finance Director, Global Markets.
Robin, Sarah, Nick and Grant sit in the London office.
