BBC America promotes Devin Johnson to VP Publicity

Devin Johnson has been promoted to VP Publicity for BBC America and Consumer Products with immediate effect. Johnson, who joined the channel as a publicist in 2007 was most recently Director Publicity, BBC America and Global Brands.

In his new role he will oversee the publicity team and all campaigns and press activity relating to BBC America and its programming. This includes key titles Doctor Who, Top Gear, Luther and The Hour plus the channel’s first original drama Copper, due to air this summer. He also oversees the Consumer Products publicity team.

Prior to joining BBC America, Johnson was an Emmy® award-winning member of the Today show production team at NBC. He began his career as a NBC Page in New York.
