As the documentary follows the progress, BBC One catches up with Darren, as he receives his compensation money for selling his businesses, and enrols one of his children into private school – all while dealing with some devastating family news.
The documentary also features Yvonne Kuckuk, who runs the local community centre, which is about to be taken away to make room for the Games. Yvonne looks for ways to give her and the community a bigger slice of the legacy the Games will leave for Dalmarnock.
In other stories this week, Margaret Jaconelli watches as her neighbourhood is redeveloped, we catch-up with Steven as he progresses his career while working at the Velodrome, and 12 year-old Callum is reunited with his father.
