The Great Sport Relief Bake Off

Confirmed for BBC Two on 16 January at 8.00pm to 9.00pm

Ep 4/4

Thursday 16 January

The Bake Off is back, and this time 16 celebrity Sport Relief supporters will whisk their way through the Bake Off tent in an effort to cook up some serious cash for charity in The Great Sport Relief Bake Off.

A fresh batch of celebrities go head-to-head in a series of challenges judged by legendary cookery writer Mary Berry and acclaimed Master Baker Paul Hollywood. The celebrity bakers will need to prove they can rise to the occasion with the crown of Sport Relief Star Baker up for grabs. Olympic gold-medal winner Nicola Adams will be in South Africa, showing one of the projects that Sport Relief cash supports and how the money raised really makes a difference.

In this episode presented by Ed Byrne, the bakers will knead to know their soggy bottoms from their even bakes as they take on a pizza challenge for their signature bake. Faced with a tricky technical (Eccles cake) and a demanding showstopper (a tiered cake representing sporting equipment), the celebrities will be expected to demonstrate a variety of skills. But who will emerge as the front runner and who will miss the mark?
