Law In Action

Ep 1/4

Tuesday 19 February

Law in Action, the BBC’s legal affairs magazine, returns with a new series looking at the cutting edge debates within the law.

As we face big political questions over England’s relationship with Wales and Scotland, and separately the UK’s relationship with Europe, the first programme will consider the UK’s Constitution and whether our courts will have to split between jurisdictions.

In the US, President Obama is asking for the law to recognise up to a million 'undocumented children'. Presenter Joshua Rozenberg, one of the UK’s most distinguished legal journalists, investigates whether the same problem exists in Britain, and finds tens of thousands of UK-born children in a similar legal limbo.
