Let's Dance For Comic Relief

Confirmed for BBC One on 16 February at 6.50pm to 8.10pm

Ep 1/4

Saturday 16 February

Tim Vine and a host of other stars will be donning their dancing shoes in the first episode of entertainment extravaganza Let’s Dance For Comic Relief.

Fronted once again by Alex Jones and Steve Jones, the showdown kicks off on 16 February and will span four weeks, with three star-studded Saturday night heats culminating in a grand final on 9 March. Each week, viewers at home will get the chance to vote for their favourite act who will gain a place in the final.

Also appearing throughout the series will be Ricky Hatton, Nina Conti and Jon Culshaw, among others.

Once again, our dancing celebrities will be judged each week by a panel of top TV personalities that will feature such comic legends as Frank Skinner and Jo Brand. Each week, the judges will choose from the runners up to join the viewer’s favourite in the final. There will also be a music performance from a chart-topping artist each week.

Last year’s series, which raised money for Sport Relief saw Only Way Is Essex stars Amy Childs and Harry Derbridge battle it out with legendary skier Eddie ‘The Eagle’ Edwards, as Scott Mills and Olly Murs took on comedian Omid Djalili. Wiping the dance floor with them all was Roland Rivron, who stole audience hearts and votes and won the show with a dazzling routine to Fatboy Slim’s Weapon Of Choice.
