What appealed to you about taking part in Superstars?

I’m looking forward to taking part in Superstars since it looks like lots of fun plus it is interesting to see how well we all do in disciplines we are not used to.

Which event are you most looking forward to?

Archery, I think! I haven’t ever done it before, but it looks really fun.

Are there any of the events that you are apprehensive about taking part in?

I’m not at all looking forward to swimming.  I can just about stay above water.  I really hope it’s not cold either; the main challenge may be getting me in the water.

What training have you undertaken to prepare for it?

I’ve joined the archery club, a swimming class twice a week, kayaking and spending extra time in the gym.  Not really!! I’ve just got back into my own training after my break and it’s always hard at this time of year, but I do look forward to it. I hope I’ll have done enough for Superstars!

Do you have any superstitions or rituals that you’ll want to do before each of the events?

No, I don’t have any rituals. I just need to make sure I try and remember to put on my game face! I don’t want to be laughing the entire time.

Superstars will be shown over Christmas.  What are your own Christmas TV favourites? And what are your plans for this Christmas?

When I was a kid, I loved the old classics like Home Alone, and Indiana Jones.  Nowadays my siblings get first dibs on the TV shows. If I don’t like it, they tell me to go home. My plans for Christmas always stay the same – a family affair.  If I don’t turn up, I’m sure I will be disowned!
