Following on from the triumphant Olympic weekend, EastEnders will be referencing the incredible success of Team GB in Tuesday night’s episode.

In scenes filming tomorrow, EastEnders will celebrate the recent achievements with a scene between Jean, Tyler and Ray where they discuss how brilliant Team GB are and how proud they feel to be living in London – just a stone’s throw away from the Olympic Stadium.

The scene will transmit on Tuesday 7 August on BBC Two at 7.30pm.

Executive Producer, Lorraine Newman, said: “Following EastEnders involvement with the Olympic Torch Relay we are delighted to have the opportunity to reflect the current sentiment of the entire country. Team GB have made so many people truly proud to be British and we wish them continued success.”

Previous EastEnders scene additions have included the Royal Wedding, Michael Jackson’s death, Obama’s Presidency and the Elections.
