Dani Harmer and Tyger Drew-Honey join Omid Djalili as the fifth and sixth acts to hot step their way into the final of Let’s Dance For Sport Relief, after impressing viewers with their show stopping performances in the third round of the series.

Hosts Alex Jones and Steve Jones announced that viewers had voted actors Dani and Tyger through to the final on Saturday 17 March, after their spectacular performance of Fat Sam’s Grand Slam from the film Bugsy Malone.

Runners up Radio 1 DJ Scott Mills dancing with pop star Olly Murs joined comedian Omid Djalili who then faced this week’s panellists, Tim Minchin, Katy Brand and Ed Byrne, who had the difficult decision of choosing who deserved the sixth place in the final after their performances of Party Rock Anthem, LMFAO and Fight The Power, Public Enemy respectively.

The panellists voted unanimously for Omid Djalili sweeping him through to the final.

Following Dani and Tyger’s winning performance, the panellists commented:

Tim Minchin: “I think it’s disgusting how you can be so young and so good at stuff. You look awesome, a performance with such maturity performed by a man who has to draw his moustache on with eyeliner is surprising”.

Katy Brand: “Amazing, proper old school showbiz full on performance,” adding “I think you make a lovely couple and I think you should get married.”

Ed Byrne: “Three words people: west, end, hit!”

On confirming their place in the final with a fantastic performance of Fat Sam’s Grand Slam, Bugsy Malone Dani said: “I’m absolutely flabbergasted, thank you so much to everyone who voted.” as Tyger added “It’s such a surprise but it feels amazing but now we’ve got to do it again!”

Dani and Tyger then closed the show with an encore of the viewers’ choice Fat Sam’s Grand Slam.

Tonight’s show was the third of four heats and saw Scott Mills and Olly Murs; Arabella Weir; and Kirsten O’Brien eliminated.

There were also performances from Tinchy Stryder Ft. Pixie Lott with new single ‘’Bright Lights’ and Chris Isaak who sang his latest release ‘Great Balls of Fire’.

Next week is the final heat as five more celebrity contestants will take to the stage in a bid for the remaining two places in the final of Let’s Dance For Sport Relief alongside Eastenders’ Tameka Empson and Laurie Brett; comedian Terry Alderton; former Olympic ski jumper Eddie ‘The Eagle’ Edwards; comedian Miles Jupp and tonights winners Dani Harmer and Tyger Drew-Honey and comedian Omid Djalili.

Next week’s show will air on BBC One and BBC One HD at 7.10pm to 8.30pm.
