The well-loved characters of long-running radio soap Story, Story air public issues for an audience of over 20 million. The hit TV drama Wetin Dey raised awareness about HIV and AIDS. BBC Media Action Nigeria also works with partners to support media development. It does this by training journalists, providing technical assistance and working with editors and management staff to ensure greater long-term sustainability for local and community media.
