Siobhan wants to win the role not just for her friends and family.
Siobhan has been talking about securing a place in the final and being saved in the semi-final sing-off. She now knows that it's just not her nearest and dearest she's doing it for.
"It's the final hurdle," she said. "Andrew Lloyd Webber has put so much faith in me. I can't let him down."
"He wants me to make this final leap of faith... it's all making sense. I don't want to let him down, myself down or my family down. I've just got to do it now."
Siobhan feels that both Connie and Helena are a massive threat to her dream, but that it's still anyone's game.
"We can all the act the part, but right now... the public have got to decide which person is most suitable for the role. I just hope that my personality fits."
One thing is certain; Siobhan is a determined Maria:
"Performing is where I want to be. It's taken me this long to work it out. This part would be the ultimate, ultimate dream and I know I can do it."

How will Siobhan sell tickets though? shes very pretty (a disadvatage for this role) but acts like a model (scrape here knee...), can't sell songs well, is unemotional, and has seious acting problems (the worst by far out of the five semi finalists)

Just look back at your Songbird performance and ask yourself how many people could bring a whole nation to tears, including that hard-nosed panel, simply by sitting on a stool and singing. Excelent voice, but I do prefer listening to Siobhan singing strong vocal operatic songs rather than pop, these I think bring out her voice best, please let her sing hills are alive completely, I think she should be maria, and if so when can I buy the tickets to the performance as this program has inspired me to go to the west end to see some of the shows for the first time at the age of 42.

I was definately not a fan of Siobhan at the beginning and I have to eat my words last Saturday she showed what a beautiful voice she has. It was just not obvious at the beginning too many bum notes. She looks good and sounds good a real contender now.
