Siobhan believes she has a secret weapon: versatility.
Looking forward to this week's semi-final, Siobhan has been talking about how the competition is hotting up and how rivalry is increasing.
"None of us are stupid," she said, "we get along fine in the house but deep down we know we would crawl over each other to get the part."
"I'm ready for the fight - now more than ever because I believe I've got what the panel are asking of me now."
So, who is her main rival? "Of course Connie is huge competition. Connie's got an amazing talent."
But Siobhan believes she has the upper hand. "One thing that I have that Connie doesn't is that I'm learning something from scratch and the tutors can mould me in whichever way they want me.
"I think that because Connie is already trained she runs the risk of everything being quite consistently Connie. Because I'm new into it they can bend me and shape me in whichever way they need me to be."
It seems after last week our second-chance Maria thinks she could possibly be our first lady.
"It's the semi-finals - I'm going to go out there and give nothing less than a leading lady performance. I know I can do it, I believe I can do it."

siobhan, i have dreams of becoming a west end performer but i never thought i could do as i have confidence problems and i thought that someone so normal as me could make it into such a world, but you have given me so much confidence and now ii realise i can actually sing. I have since auditioned for a part in a school musical and feel so much better. I am now even more determind. thank you so much siobhan you have become an idol to me and i look up to you so much. Siobhan is very talented but I would worry about her being able to perform 8 shows a week without the necessary training that the others have. She will be great in the future but please go and train! Its nonsense to suggest that because someone is trained they can't be moulded to a part, as she suggests about Connie. The skills you can learn while training give you the ability to adapt in ways an untrained performer would not be able to.

Siobhan is doubtlessly very pretty and has a great voice, at audition I think she was great. However, somehting doesn't sit quite right with me. When I saw the clips ( I was at a friends sleepover on saturday) I thought the girls sang well but when you sung... I was in heaven!!! Your song took me away! I watched Saturday's show and although all girls sang well, I didn't find any one of them particularly outstanding - until Siobhan!!! Not only was her voice absolutely superb, but her emotional input was breath-taking. It has been a long time since I was moved to tears by listening to and watching someone singing, but I cried like a babe when Siobhan sang. There is no doubt that she will be the new Maria!

I have played this clip over and over. It brings tears to my eyes everytime. I think you have such a beautiful voice and you can hear the passion when you are singing, to me thats what makes a true singer. Ever since the first time I saw you sing you became my idol alongside Eva Cassidy. I can relate you to myself so much when I see you on the tele. Like you I have dreams of starring in the west end I love any aspect of performing and have already done musical theate exams. But I also have huge problems with confidence as a result of bullying and always being put down. So much so I usually sing with my back to my singing teacher and have never let my family hear me sing. Seeing you sing makes me feel so much better and it makes me realise that I can do it.

i think that siobhan is the best maria in the compition i know siobian,well i know of her and my sisters have met her, she went to my high school and she preformed with my sister in the school shows she was the most popular in the school at the time as she is an amazing singer SIOBAN TO WIN !!!!!!!!!!!!
