Confidence In Me
Siobhan says Saturday has helped her a lot.
She's already been dubbed our 'Second-chance Maria' but after Saturday, Siobhan feels that she's had another lucky break.
"Zoe saved me last night - asking me to sing 'I Could Have Danced All Night'," she said. "Thanks to Zoe I got a chance to show my soprano. I stood there and thought 'Okay, I can do this'."
"Last night the judges comments really helped build my confidence, she added. "I'm honestly starting to think I'm as good as some of the best people."
Although her confidence has been given a boost, the possibility of winning the competition is a worry:
"The prospect of being Maria is so terrifying - but also exciting. Coming from a fashion background, then someone saying you might be on the Palladium stage with the biggest role. I feel petrified but at the same time I would love it."
"This Saturday I will prove to everyone that I have what it takes. I will prove to John [Barrowman] that I can be a leading lady. Prove to the audience that I have stage presence and prove to all the viewers that I am Maria."
This Saturday, two would-be Maria's will be bid 'So Long, Farewell' - a prospect that adds another dimension to the competition - and Siobhan's nerves.
"The thought that two people are going makes everything all the more intense and the smallest mistake could make all the difference."
