Helen and David
Helena, a fabulous performance last week, Good Luck for tomorrow.

Jen
You are a superstar. You looked beautiful and have the voice of an angel. Lets hope you get the chance to knock em dead with your amazing soprano voice. Looking forward to this week. Good luck and enjoy from your biggest fan. xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx

Emma Harley - Southampton
Stunning! What a fantastic performance! (Where are the critics now huh...?!!) Everyone that knows you could see that initially you had the wrong song and when you were chosen by Sir Andrew Lloyd Webber I couldn't wait until Saturday when you could show him what you are made of...and you sure did! Stay focused and the best of luck for Saturday. Friends always, Emma x x x

Lilly (6)
Helena is my favourite, I want you to be Maria! I like the way she sings and I think she is nice.

Annie
Reechay, you were bloody awesome! Really proud to see you go for it, you know you can do it. Be yourself and let people see that shimmy in you. x

Simon from Bishop's Waltham
Helena, Getting better as we go along; really excited to see what you do next week. keep going in this direction and you can win. Would love to see you dail up the smiles, the attitude some more and you could go far in the comp. At the moment I'm just waiting to see the song-bird crack that slightly tough egg shell holding her down. let it out girl! x

seb
flat, you lot dont even know the meaning of flat, oh my good, what a difficult song 1st week, but you sang it to a high standard either way. but this week, well it was sensational, it was incredible, the best there for sure. you will def be in the top 4, mark my words!!! love it.

Maddie - 12yrs
hi helena! id like to say what a kind, bubbly, caring, personality you have! and i feel so bad about having to say this, but im sorry, i just dont think your maria. keep working at it though, cos you can only get better. good luck hunni xxx

Connie
I thought that "crazy chick" was totally the wrong song and no offence hun but you deseved to be in the bottem however singing woman in love you were fabulous!!! Its stuck in my head now great!!

Kate O
Helena you looked and sounded fantastic. Your star quality lit up the stage. Your talent, determination, courage and sparkling personality prove that you are Maria

Cath- Sarisbury
Helena, so much better this week. Let them know you are enjoying it though. Looking forward to the next show. Show them you are Maria!

Alex
You were fantastic on saturday Helena and you are a dark horse in this competition...I think you are fantastic and have a beautiful voice. Go for it!

Jenny
Love ya darlin. Knew that you'd show everyone! Keep smiling!

Fiona
I'm a friend of Helenas and I know she has the talent and the quality of voice to win this, she was given a unfair disadvantage in the first week by being made to sing a terrible song, give her somthing decent and she will blow you away. I think she proved this on Sat! You go girl!! x

Hayley, Southampton
Helena well done, you were amazing this week. Its fantastic seeing you on the tv.....keep it up, you deserve this. I know you are Maria You sound amazing hun, we always said you were going to make it and you have proved to everyone that you will. GOOD LUCK!! x

Yannie
I was really good friends with Helena at school and I am just so thrilled that she starting to live her dream. I wish her the best of luck with the competition and I will always support her. Good luck. xx

barrie
Absolutely fabulous. You were great. You looked fantastic and telegenic. The performance was big and sung with conviction. Your voice was in tune and you sang it better than Barbara Striesand. Sock in to them again this week Helena!

Jessie
HELENA, WOW!! you were AMAZING this week! So much better this time round, just shows how wrong it can go if the song isn't right for you. You've totally changed my opinion of you, for the better!! and I really hope you go all the way now! Good luck! xxx

Mr Hewitt
CONGRATS!!!! What a great belt, and you really told us a story. Perfect, I hope you go really far!

Lynda and Stan
This second performance is more like the Helena we know. Keep it up you are doing well!!

Lexi
I really wanted Helena to really go for it this week and show the judges what she was really made of, and when she started singing I knew she'd done just that. It was the best performance of the night for me and I loved it from start to end! She had the most passion and emotion than any of the other girls and she sang her heart out. She connected with the audience and not many of the girls can really do that. She has an enormous talent. Dont dismiss this girl. She's got something special in her that's only just started to shine...

Peggie
Last week I thought Helena gave a weak performance but tonight (19th) she was the best singer.'Woman in Love' was fantastic and I totally changed my opinion. She deserves to be there.

gemma- gosport
hiya. your well fab hunnie and i hope that you get to one of the final stages because i know that you can do it. i think you left the drama school that i go to just before i joined. catisfeild school of dance and drama? good luck and best wishes

Nicki Lewis
Helen you were stunning this week. Your singing made the hairs on the back of my neck stand up. I have never seen you give a bad perforamance and I know that the choice of song last week was not yours and that the backing singers were too loud for you. It's a lot to do with luck and what is chosen for you to sing. You are a true proffessional, and I do hope that in the weeks to come the audience will get to see just how talented you really are. Good luck and chin up!

Daniel (21, Birmingham)
Just to wish you all the luck in the world. "Woman In Love" was a tremendous performance...hairs on my arms were standing on end. I’m a composer and pianist and it is moments like your song this evening (19/08/06) that makes me appreciate the power of music ever more. Keep up that strong passion – it made my evening. Other comments referring to your pitch are incorrect - last week there was clearly a problem with the sound levels we got through our TV - I'm very glad to see that your support on the show has returned with great comments from the judges this evening however. Massive congratulations; either way with this fire for the part (and your future) you're sure to be an extremely successful lady.

amy- southampton
I think I used to go dancing with you, I saw you on the show and just thought wow what amazing talent!! Keep up the escellent work. You are a star.

Adrian (hereford)
Fantasic is what I can say to the way she sang Woman in Love. I love that song and she really sang it well, I hope she does well. If she don't get the part as Maria, I still think she will go far

SARAH
sorry not maria TOO FLAT

allan, SCOTLAND
you where good at no matter what, but when you song crazy chick you could not sing the song at all sorry

eve
im a friend of helenas from drama school, keep your chin up babe keep your awesome confidence up we havent seen the last of you yet, like nat said give em a shimmy and the world will smile with you! be watching u in the final babe xxxx

Emma
I worked with Helena recently and she has a fabulous soprano voice. I dont think 'crazy chick' was possible the best song for you babe, but what the hell has the ability to sing pop got to do with you being a fabulous Maria. Totally behind you mate and waiting for you to blow your critics away this saturday...lots of luck xxxxxxx

Alyssie (12)
You are a good performer but your vocal skills were not flattered.

Catherine
Rooting for you as is Lara, smile more and let them see what you can really do. Crazy chick did not show you to advantage. You pulled it off in the sing off. Good luck for Saturday.

H
to be honest, helena had such a difficult song to sing, i don't even think Charlotte Church herself can sing it well, the songs always going to sound out of key, especially sung by a classical singer, Helena is awesome just pick the perfect song!!!

Jenny
Well done! I hope the audience gets to hear the real Helena this weekend. Andrew Lloyd Webber knows what he is doing!!!

KATE ROBERTS
I would just like to wish Helena and all the remaining girls luck for the next show.

Claire
Helena, you rock! You are fabulous, everybody who knows you knows that ! You have got an amazing voice (one of the best I've ever heard), and unfortunately your song last week didn't show it. I hope you'll have a better song this week (please, let it be musical theatre and not pop!) so everyone can realise that you are Maria! You've got my vote!! Helena to win!!! xxx

Abi Fan
I wasn't too keen on either Helena or Laura's performances on Saturday. Helena's really going to have to turn up the heat this coming Saturday. I think Abi may win, but Aoife will come a close second

Louise
I still think that Laura was far better than Helena last week singing-wise, but reading her diary and what she has said about Laura...she's gotta be a really lovely person and you can tell that she really misses her! I know this doesn't improve her singing abilities but I just thought I'd post a little message about that!

Angela
You went from pretty bad (Crazy Chick) to bloody great in the sing off. I think some of the current front runners will slip back in the coming weeks, and with a good song choice you will become a serious contender, mainly because you look more like the part (slightly tom boyish) and you've got character which I suspect hasn't fully come out yet to the public. Good luck, I've just had a bet on you!

cowbud
my daghters to little to write so am doing this for 2 year old chardonny she loves you . from tracy and conner

Daniel
Helena is not Maria. She didn't pull that song off, she doesn't have any stage presence so I'm not sure why Andrew saved her when the public gave her the least votes. Maybe he felt sorry for her !!!

Natalie
You have an amazing talent babe. You will shine just like you always do. you will prove all the critics wrong. maybe a shimmy will win them over!!!! I love you and am thinking of you always. So proud of you.

Sarah
How can anybody judge all her abilities on one performance?! Granted, Crazy Chick was not the best choice but Helena has incredible flair and a stunning voice on stage. She has the capability to beat everyone on this program. C'mon Helena!!!

Joseph
You have a great voice, Helena!!! Keep up the great vocals - you can win it!!!

Not Your Fan
You weren't as good as LAURA!!! Your face expressions were spectacular tho...

Tom Helios
I don't quite understand why Helena is still there. The public didn't like her voice, heaven knows why Andrew liked it. With a song like "Crazy Chick" it demands some moves. With a sexy song like that it should have been Siobhan singing it. Unfortunately, I don't believe you are Maria.

sonia and clare
not a good choice of song as charlotte church has unique voice. beter choice of song may improve her chances

H
your fantastic, dont let peoples comments bring you down.......You are the real Maria and I will be voting for you. Go Girl!!

Hayley, Southampton
I went to school with Helena, she has always been a star........I hope you win on Saturday you deserve it

Conor Sheridan
Helena is a personal friend. She has an outstanding vocal talent, mix and quality that is outstanding which has not yet been seen on this programme so far. Keep watching, some of these over harsh comments may be regretted. Keep up the good work.

Kimmy
You were great mate! Well Done! Kimx

Michelle
It looked like she was trying to keep up with the backing vocals.

Sue T
Maybe trying a little too hard. The choice of song was very ambitious. Other's took the easier option and delivered a more relaxed performance. I think you've got great personality and individuality.

Starfinder
Helena was very sligthly out of her deapth this week, although the energy she displayed in the sing off was impressive. But, it is true to say that at times the backing singers were easier to hear. I think next week, a better choice of song may enhance her performance and hopefully she will begin to find her feet again. 55% for now.

Butty
Crazy Chick was a bad choice to start with. But Helena was clearly the better singer in the sing-off. well done for pulling it out of the bag when it counted!

Joolz
She was terrible. I'd pay NOT to see her.

emilia
Sorry but youre just not Maria, Hel

Nadine. Manchester
I couldn't understand how this girl got into the top ten or how Sir Andrew Lloyd Webber gave her another chance. Her performance was wooden and over powered by the backing singers. At this stage there is no room for any excuses and every performance should be flawless at this stage, this goes to all the contenders. My favourite by far is Leanne and in her own words, she is a blank canvas and can be moulded into what the producers want, the olny thing that wont have to be touched is her voice. A absolute star and spine tingerling vocal ability.

Stacey Taylor
I thought she was awful. She does not deserve to be there. I certainly would not pay to see her.

Kate
Well done Helena, you sang your heart out in the sing off and deserved to go through. Lets hope that you get to sing a song that really shows offf your voice next week, and people will see that your the real Maria!

Sue rainer-copland
Did not do anything for me with song words not clear maybe thts my hearing!. Hope that in the next show she has more attitude.

David
Well-Done! Just LOVED your 'Attitude' at the sing-off! You were just not going to be cowed by everyone voting against you! You will have got yourself a shed-load of new supporters from that - GOOD LUCK!

Sophi
This was a weak performance. You could hear the backup singing more clearly than Helena.

d
I think she needs to open her mouth more when she sings...

Lynda Wilson, Leeds, West Yorkshire, UK
Sorry hun, but your voice was flat this week. :(
