Lucy sayd, "I think I was very lucky in some ways as it was a benign tumour. But as a side effect of that I had developed a facial palsy - that's where the nerves to face on one side don't work."

So how has Lucy coped with the way she now looks? And what sort of reactions does she get from others?

"I hope that I see disabled people differently now because of my own experience and whatever we look like we are all normal inside and have the same feelings," says Lucy.
