We
asked the teachers and pupils at Alma Park Primary School what they
would like to happen as part of the BBC Voices project. They came
up with a wish list of items across the departments that would benefit
the whole school and involve the local community.
The
three main areas for improvement are makeovers on:

Measuring
up in the toilets |
The
Toilets – never a high spot in schools! The children would like
to see these brightened up, cleaned and painted – with new mirrors,
jazzy toilet seats and artwork. We
aim to carry out this work in the Easter Half Term:14th - 17th April
April 2003.

The
Outside Grounds – BBC GMR’s Gardening expert Tom Leigh will
be working with local experts and agencies on ideas for improving
the school grounds. We want to involve the whole community in a
Groundforce style makeover in the May Half Term: 26-30 May 2003.
