THE RICH AND THE FAMOUS
We're looking for Levenshulme's famous sons and daughters. If you know of any, get in touch.

Lord Foster
Architect Norman Foster was born in Manchester in 1935 and brought up in Levenshulme. Some of his design work can be seen in places as diverse as London and Shanghai.
Leaving school at 16, he initially worked in Manchester's City Treasurer's office before National Service in the Royal Air Force. More recently Lord Foster hits the headlines as designer of London's famous wobbly Millennium Bridge.
