With a cast of 80 dancers, lavish designs and Tchaikovsky’s sweeping score,The Sleeping Beauty is the very pinnacle of the great Russian ballet tradition.

Rejected as a godmother, wicked fairy Carabosse curses baby Princess Aurora, who is thus fated to prick her finger on a spindle and sleep for a hundred years.

You know the rest and although it's as predictable as true love waits, this classic ballet never fails to impress.

This glittering fairytale spectacular has been a showcase for the Birmingham Royal Ballet’s outstanding talents since it was first created by Sir Peter Wright in 1984 and we're looking for two people to review it for us.
