Out on Monday 24 March, 'X Marks Destruction' has the potential to be one of the albums of the year and, while details are a bit sketchy at the moment, with a bit of luck, it’ll include all the singles that have got everyone talking about them – Muzzle #1, Sister Siam, Divebomb and the starting point for it all, Trash. In fact, they’re even re-releasing Trash to celebrate. Originally put out as a limited edition of 500 vinyl singles back in the summer of 2006 – proof that The Whip were ahead of the recent rush of bands to strap on a synthesiser and go all dance - Trash will get a full release on Monday 17 March. The band are about to set out as support for Simian Mobile Disco on their UK tour in February, but will be taking the centre stage for their own dates around the release of 'X Marks Destruction'. The Whip play Academy 3 with Simian Mobile Disco on Thursday 7 February and headline the Warehouse Project on Friday 21 March.last updated: 18/01/2008 at 17:44 SEE ALSOYou are in: Manchester > Entertainment > Music > News and Interviews > The Whip set for Destruction [an error occurred while processing this directive] |
