Contact Mo

in their own words...
Contact Mo are a five piece who swing brilliantly between 'rock out with yer **** out' and 'stay in with yer kettle on'.

Contact Mo

What We Think:

"Like Jodrell Bank staring up into the sky, Contact Mo are epic stargazers, building melodious waves of swirling guitar like a less oppressive Longview or a more intense Elbow. Just like Guy Garvey’s lads, they’ve also been plugging away for the best part of a decade without much luck coming their way. However, if the rest of their set list is anything like the three swoonsome beauties they’ve got on their demo, they might just find that an increasing number of people will be soon making first contact."

Chris Long

We have blended them into songs which are equally atmospheric and epic, layering guitars and harmonies with hooks which refuse to leave your head.

Others have compared us to the likes of Elbow, Doves, Radiohead and Sigur Ros, which is pleasing, although we have also been complimentarily described as being like a prog Dire Straits, which is something we're working on.

If rock was soup for the ears, we are a special minestrone with secret ingredients, mysteriously enjoyable hot or cold, with croutons of melody melted on small bits of rhythmic toast.
