The Great Unheard

Get on the Great Unheard

For an unsigned band, it's a question of how to get your product out into the world when you haven't got a big record company behind you. And that's where we come in...

The Great Unheard is our section for new and upcoming artists. It offers you a chance to get your music on the BBC and get some honest feedback - and it really will be honest!

Pick up your guitar and play!
Pick up your guitar and play!

If you're in a band, a duo, singing solo or banging spoons on your face in some bizarre jazz collective, we want to hear from you and give you the chance to share your stuff with the world. All you have to do to get a page is send us the following and we'll do the rest:

  • A biography of the band
  • Pictures of the band for use on the site
  • A CD of your tunes
  • A completed agreement form (essential or we can't include you!)

Of course everything we need may be available on your website (apart from the agreement form, which you can get below). If it is, then save on your costs by just letting us know that when you complete the form!
