Bleeding Hands

Andy ‘Bleeding Hands’ Hughes could be defined as an acoustic battlefield tossed into a blender and turned on high.

What we think:

"Bleak doesn’t really do Bleeding Hands justice. As you’d expect from someone with a name like a blues legend, he takes a downbeat look at life and manages to create, in his simple acoustica, songs that sound both empty and full at once. Give him a budget for a band and his growling charm could fly."

Chris Long

Andy writes simple songs about complex things: love, family, heaven and hell. Addiction and real life experience. In his songs emotions connect; you sing along even though you've never heard the tune before. Andy's writing has a unique perspective of warmth, sincerity and void; either he is inside the fire looking out, or welcoming you to join him round it.

Since hitting the scene a year ago, Bleeding Hands has continually expanded his horizons, gigging around England and making a debut continental performance in Poland.

Ultimately, it’s Bleeding Hands’ live shows that generates the most enthusiasm for his music. He now finds himself travelling the road that leads from small towns to big cities.

With a growing internet following, and demand for shows, Bleeding Hands will be full frontal assaulting the Manchester music scene later this year.
