Community 2 is, as the name suggests, the fan-based website’s second compilation of covers. The first included tracks by bands from all over the world, and saw every entry entered into an on-line competition, where the best were chosen in a poll by the site’s members. It was such a success that they’ve decided to do it all over again, so bands and musicians are invited to submit their covers of New Order/Joy Division tracks for entry and as with the previous contest, visitors to NewOrderOnline will be given the opportunity to vote for their favourites on a knock-out round basis.
 | | Dave Potts |
The ten lucky winners will then have their tracks featured on the Community 2 album, alongside ex-Monaco star David Potts’ version of New Order’s The Village. Alongside the covers, there’ll also be a chance to take part in a competition to remix Potts’ track and produce a video for the track. All the details of how to enter the competition, the rules and the disclosure agreement (that must be signed and returned to be eligible) are available on the official website.
