Boxing sensation Amir Khan has his second professional bout tomorrow night when he takes on his 34-year-old opponent in Cardiff. The 18-year-old Olympic silver medallist will fight Baz Carey at the Cardiff Arena in the undercard fight to WBO Middleweight world champion Joe Calzaghe. Our Northwest reporter Rahila Bano spoke to Amir and asked him how he's been preparing for the fight.

Paul Cullen's side moved into the top four after their 32-22 victory over Salford, a win that delighted the coach at the Halliwell Jones stadium……

Despite the defeat, there was some good news for Salford fans after Karl Fitzpatrick stressed he will stay at the club..

Saints on brink of title win

St Helens stand just one win from being named Premier Champions after a record 78-4 victory over Leigh. The Saints coach Daniel Anderson knows victory over arch rivals Wigan will secure the title..
