I have to agree with 'comedy fan', The GMR show michelle @ Midnight is really quite poor and amateurish. Unless this is ironic, and that the comedy is unintended, then perhaps it is deserved. How Mark & Lard didn't win is beyond me, but they are comedians as well as DJs where Mullane has a token, usually extremely unfunny, comedian on her show. The show is really quite poor and makes these awards seem pretty irrelevant.

As the Publisher of, the organisers of the event, i would just like to give a vote of thanks to the comedians and celebs at the event on Thursday. Super Lawyer Lisa Beitch said it the best. 'They were really great, talking to everyone, in fact it felt like we were all good friends having a party!' Manchester proves itself yet once again.

Category judge: BBC GMR's Michelle Mullane. Winner: Michelle Mullane for Michelle around Midnight on BBC GMR. right, yeah. Has anyone actually heard this show? It's terrible. Johnny Vegas, and Mark and Lard in particular brought brilliantly funny comedy moments to their radio shows, so why not them?

Dave Spikey
A brilliant night, well done to all the organisers who were brilliant and especially that guy who was hosting the table, he was great!
