D:Percussion - Urban Stage

The urban music twist in the refreshing day of D:Percussion comes in two parts. BBC Blast will be hosting a youth music showcase and workshop before 6pm, then Broke'n'English will be on hand to rip up the stage in the evening.

The stage will showcase a wide range of local young bands and DJs, including young women from black and Asian backgrounds who have been taking part in a music workshop as part of BBC Blast throughout the month of July. Also on hand will be Raw T, Virus Syndicate and more to tear things up.

In the evening, Broke'n'English's live performance will be joined on the decks by Blood and Fire's Dom Sotgiu, 1Xtra's DJ Sappo, Marcus Intalex's Soul:ution.
