Starting on 24 July 2004, the 7-day festival will première 17 pieces of new writing for the theatre, with a spotlight on talent from the North West.

And what makes this festival even more exciting is that performances will not be held in conventional theatres.

The Printworks in Manchester and Chapel Street in Salford are being transformed into performance spaces.

Each participating company has been allocated up to five varied time slots of 90 minutes each during the week.

In that time they have to set up, perform, and leave the workspace again.

A series of consecutive performances will take place in each location, ensuring that there will be no idle space throughout 24:7.

We've asked Daisy Wang from 24:7 to give us all the inside information about this year's festival and Daisy has interviewed many of the writers involved. See below for a list of interviews.
