the video report
Elbow frontman Guy Garvey agrees to have a meal cooked for him
by admirer and chef, Claire Kelsey. On the menu is a vegetarian
hotpot for the Bury lad. Claire has identified Guy as one of
Britain's most eligible bachelors - and the mood soon turns
steamy
when the potatoes come to the boil. Great music
and - er - cooking. Click

GREEN
CHRISTMAS
Powerhouse visits the Christmas set of a new ITV comedy drama
starring Robson Green and Mark Benton. It's called Christmas
Lights and tells the story of two men who become arch-rivals
as they battle to dress their homes with bigger and better
- you've guessed it - Christmas lights. These two blokes are
not the brightest bulbs on the tree but, ultimately, Christmas
Lights is a feel good piece that celebrates friendship. Could
the starry pairing of these two fine actors spawn a replacement
for Robson and Jerome? Let's hope not.

of its arse." We find out what Nige and his alter ego,

was announced, and get their take on what it all means for
the city.

ARTIST
IN RESIDENCE
Alex Williams answers the call of a Cumbrian damsel in distress
keen to make a modern sculpture to brighten up her garden and
impress her partner. Using everyday materials under Alex's expert
and enthusiastic guidance, she creates a work that has to be
seen to be believed - and may go on to win this year's Turner
prize. Or may not. Whatever, it's another triumph for the Artist
in Residence. |
