Isley Brothers The Isley Brothers Summer Breeze their way into the Bridgewater Hall on Friday for the launch Black History Month NW, Acts of Achievement 2003.

One of the most successful funk/R&B groups of the '70s, the Isley Brothers released their début single and instant classic (You Know You Make Me Want To) Shout! in 1959.

They signed to Tamla Motown a year later and scored a huge hit with This Old Heart of Mine.

Now taking their rightful place as respected elder statesmen of R&B with new album Body Kiss, The Brothers have 23 gold, platinum and multiplatinum albums to their credit.
