Artist in Residence
Rommi Smith

Rommi Smith is BBC 2002's Artist in Residence and she will be performing her work in the Northwest on television, radio and on-line.

Rommi's remit is to take the Games as her inspiration to create spoken word "poetic photos", capturing the impact the Games is having on people's lives and on the region - the triumphs, the disappointments, the aspirations and pitfalls encountered along the way as the region gears up for the biggest ever event in the Games' 72 year history.

Rommi's work as Artist in Residence is published below.
