Watch out for Mad Ferret!

Official Mascot Kit the Cat will be getting a helping hand at promoting the Games in the shape of a 5'11" Mancunian ferret.

He has already been spotted at Manchester Airport meeting and greeting passengers and he and Kit will be out and about in the run up to the Games and at the events.

Since he has a self-confessed talent for taking over any normal situation and turn it into absolute chaos visitors might like to watch out for him!

Mad Ferret, whose name is a play on the 'mad fer it' motto of bands like Oasis, is also part of the drive to keep Manchester clean during the Games and the Mascot will be promoting an anti-littering message to visitors.
