John is attempting to visit every BBC radio station in the country in six days, of which BBC 2002 was his eleventh, before returning to Television Centre on 13 July to present the National Lottery.

That means he will be visiting 43 stations, an average of six a day, travelling to places such as Guernsey and Jersey, as well as Belfast and Glasgow.

Sport Relief is a joint venture between BBC Sport and Comic Relief with every penny raised will going towards helping children and young people in the UK and around the world.

It culminates on 13 July when the BBC will show five hours of TV including a revived version of Superstars with Olympic hero Sir Steven Redgrave.
