Games Boss comes to BBC 2002

Jason Harborow

The latest presenter to join the BBC 2002 Commonwealth Games Radio team is one of Manchester 2002's General Managers, Jason Harborow.

Jason's Saturday morning breakfast show, The Inside Track, is on the air between 7-9am and a behind the scenes look at the Games as Jason talks to the organisers, volunteers and sponsors and interviews athletes hoping to win gold this summer. There is also a Swag Bag competition when listeners can win Games merchandise and tickets.

Jason said: "It 's a unique opportunity to talk about sport and the Games, play some great music, tell a few silly jokes and have some fun."

BBC 2002 station editor Tim Pemberton said: "n just four months, BBC 2002 has established itself as the station that has the best Commonwealth and Commonwealth Games stories.

"I'm delighted that we've been able to sign Jason Harborow who will be able to add his unique perspective to the Games.

" Jason has brought tremendous energy and enthusiasm to the station already and I'm sure he'll prove an invaluable addition to our schedule."
