Whether you're a fan of indoor or outdoor cycling, the Manchester 2002 Commonwealth Games has it all because the 2002 Games will feature 16 events in track and road racing for men and women.

Fans of the high-speed track events can enjoy their sport in the spectacular surroundings of Manchester's Velodrome, training base for Olympic gold winner Jason Queally.

While road racers and mountain bikers can follow the progress of their sporting heroes as they compete at Rivington, Bolton .

Cycling has featured in every Commonwealth Games since London, 1934 but it's only the second time in the history of the Games that Mountain Biking will feature, finally recognised as a world class sport with the introduction of the Mountain Biking World Championships in Colorado in 1990.
