Five intrepid explorers embark on a journey to discover 'The Full English'
experience. By foot, by air, road and rail they take the quest once joyously
romped by people's poet, Sir John Betjeman, through England's green and
pleasant lands.
Betjeman's poetry thrilled the masses with talk of trains and tea-cakes, jam and scones, tennis, toast and teddies. As part of the Made in England project, the happy adventurers examine 'Englishness' through their magnifying glass. They talk, act and sing with, about and in homage of the people they meet along the way.

Their journey takes them from Milton Keynes, through Metroland, through
mainline stations and right to the very heart of the Capital. Their voyage
celebrates the landscape, the people, the places that make up a slice of
England.
Using film, silent disco, theatre and song, they are joined on their journey by the people from the places they travel through along the way. Beginning in Milton Keynes with a tableaux, a song and the whiff of a dragon flying off to Luton for theatre on a train.
When they arrive at St Pancras they are joined by others (lots of others!) and complete their anthem, their homage to new England. A throng at St Pancras belts out the song which celebrates 'The Full English'.
