Made in England is a joint project with the Arts Council dedicated to exploring how England – the place and the people - is expressed through creative and artistic forms.
We asked 12 of England's finest artists to write something. We asked them to look at how the English landscape inspires them and to produce a new work.
If you're bursting with enthusiasm at the thought of creating something - why not see how you can get involved? Find out how you can get your creative juices flowing here.
Some of England's top poets - past and present - read their work out
loud. Plus hear a recording of Lord Tennyson which was recorded on wax
cylinders in 1890.
