FeaturesYou are in: Look East > Features > Made in the East  Made in the EastFor a week on Look East we will be looking some of the of the quirky and sometimes surprising array of goods made in unpredictable corners of the eastern counties. For Made in the East, a week-long series celebrating ingenuity and creativity, we will go behind the scenes at a range of makers from top-of-the-range sports cars to beer. Donna Talby, who has been co-ordinating the series, said: “Made in the East has been an exciting project. “We are launching it with a week-long series but that isn’t the end of the story. "When we were researching just what is made here, we uncovered so many interesting stories that we will be returning to it in the coming months.” The series starts on Monday, 14 September, so join us on BBC1 6.30pm on weekdays. last updated: 21/09/2009 at 13:31
