After graduating, Amelia worked for an independent production company called WRENmedia in Suffolk. During her time there, she travelled all over Africa and Asia reporting for BBC Radio 4 and BBC World Service.

Her first experience of television was working for Red TV - a community cable channel based in Cambridge. After that it was on to LLTV (Local Life TV) - another cable company based in Norwich.

She joined Look East in 2000 as a researcher. During her time at Look East she reported on the planespotters' trial in Greece. She then had a part in a film based on the true story and played herself.

Amelia has also been the Essex reporter for Look East and has strong links with Suffolk having grown up in the county and gone to school there.

She is now the main presenter of the Look East bulletin which is broadcast just before 10.30pm every night. She also presents the 8pm summary and co-presents Look East with Stewart when Susie is away.

You can also see Amelia on the Politics Show which she hosts on a regular basis.
