Find out more about the team
  • David Alexanian

    David Alexanian, 12/05/2007

Greatest Long Way Round moment: There were literally a million moments. And the small things have stayed with me longer. But getting to Magadan without rolling the 4x4s into the river or being eaten by a bear, and then getting to NY a day early and seeing Ewan and Charley back with their wives safely were equally momentus for me.

  • Russ Malkin

    Russ Malkin, 12/05/2007

Career highlight Having produced many other events and programs, including feature films, powerboat racing, motor racing, and fashion shows, Long Way Round stood out as being a career highlight simply because of the friendships that were born and some of the most amazing adventures you could ever have.

  • Eve McGregor

    Eve McGregor, 25/07/2007

'My greatest Long Way Round moment was Ewan shaving his beard off...'

  • Florence

    Claudio von Planta, 22/05/2007

As the guys hit Italy, these clips have just arrived. Looks like the rain finally stopped, and they struck lucky with some fellow bikers on a campsite.

  • Tunis

    Russ Malkin, 30/05/2007

The team arrive in Tunis and set foot (and wheels!) on African soil. 'We were held up at Customs for seven hours...'

  • Al Marj

    Claudio von Planta, 03/06/2007

A rude awakening for the team as their camp is hit by a sandstorm. 'A bit of a tent emergency ...'

  • Tobruk

    Claudio von Planta, 04/06/2007

After a turbulent night, the team are packed up and ready to go, but the sand seems to be causing more problems...

  • Wadi Halfa

    Jimmy Simak, 12/06/2007

'The Valley of the Kings is where the royal kings of the New Kingdom had their tombs.' Ewan and Charley take a tour inside.

  • El Khandaq

    Claudio von Planta, 13/06/2007

As road conditions get worse, it's getting harder to stay upright and Claudio takes a tumble. The guys also catch up with Moyles.

  • Khartoum

    Russ Malkin, 15/06/2007

Paperwork, waiting, and 44 degree heat does not a happy Russ make. More fun and games from the border...

  • Dese

    Claudio von Planta, 25/06/2007

'They want to do a three-hour inspection of all the goods... unfortunately.' Time seemed to stand still at the Ethiopian border.

  • Isiola

    Ewan McGregor, 03/07/2007

'All day we've passed cattle coming down, and people - hundreds and hundreds of people!' Ethiopia leaves a lasting impression on the team.

  • Nyimba

    Russ Malkin, 23/07/2007

With Russ clockwatching, it's another early start, and the team encounter more rocky roads in Tanzania

  • Maun

    Eve McGregor, 27/07/2007

Frestina, a local woman, gives Eve a tour of her home and Ewan composes a theme tune.

  • Sesriem

    Russ Malkin, 31/07/2007

Russ introduces us to his lucky charm, and Ewan's pants are in a bit of a state...
