All for one, one for all ... ©
Here's Ewan ... 'We've been riding all day in the rain. We've just got to the Mont Blanc Tunnel and literally we've ridden for seven and a half hours in the pouring rain. I think for twenty minutes it didn't rain. It's not been ideal, but we're here, we're going to get to our hotel and try and dry our kit for tomorrow. Stay tuned for more stunning adventures from Long Way Down.'
And a word from Jimmy, who's been sending us all these clips. Here's what he's going through to bring you it all ... sounds like it's not all heady biking pleasure - leave a message for him below!
'Hi All, it's Jimmy and I will be the guy sending stuff back to the BBC website from the road. Sadly, on my first delivery just about everything has gone wrong so I've decided to make the first text submission selfishly from me -- haha. It's midnight and I'm sitting, after a very long day of driving and filming in the rain, in a strange parking lot trying to get the satellite working. The compression software I'm using for still images is not working, the AVID program isn't displaying a window during capture so I'm unable to digitize and I'm completely spent. Yeah technology. Hopefully I can get a couple phone clips across tonight and sort the rest out tomorrow. Oh yeah, and the trip has been amazing so far... almost forgot about that part. Here's to hoping this works...'
Thanks Jimmy - without you, none of this ... etc etc
You joined us in hoping Jimmy and the technology held out - see your messages of gratitude below.
