How's things back home? How's the weather? ©
The boys were up bright and early to catch up with Mr Moyles again this morning...
Select the clip above to listen to the interview. If you'd like to listen to the whole show, or download the interview as a podcast, head to the Chris Moyles site.
Here's some of today's highlights...
Having been on the road for some time now, Ewan told Chris what he's missing the most, 'I've just got to the point on the trip where I'm starting to fantasise about really mundane home things, like taking out the rubbish, or taking the kids to school, you know, just everyday things you start to fantasise about while you're riding through not everyday things like Northern Africa'. But they've had some fun along the way too, such as visiting the Star Wars set in Tunisia, 'I found it very amusing. I didn't get recognised once! I was going up to people, you know, doing the Obi Wan Kenobi voice, and I put a beard on, but still nothing. I was so gutted!'
Chris was concerned about their lack of creature comforts when on the bikes, but Charley explained, 'we've got these little rubber moulded ear things with speakers that you can wear with your helmet, so we’ve both been listening to a lot of music, so that’s great.' He also revealed how Ewan's ride will be more comfortable from now on, 'he's so happy because we all started out with these incredibly hard seats, which we've decided are just too hard, and so we've got a nice soft seat that's just arrived for Ewan. So no more sore arse!'
Charley missed home-delivered pizzas. Ewan missed taking the rubbish out. We asked about the everyday things you miss when you're away, and here are your comments.

What I miss on my travel by motorbike around Europe
I miss the refrigerator in my kitchen or the fresh clothes out of my wardrobe. Sometimes I miss a cold beer and the home-delivered pizzas, too....

What I Miss
What I miss most when traveling is the mattress on my own bed. No other mattress feels the same, and I can't sleep well. Ewan, how could someone not recognize you as Obi Wan Kenobi!!! You are a legend in that role. May the force be with you and Charley through Africa. Love you both.

On a bike? Clean Clothes
Dry clean clothes - nothing like having a freshly washed and machine dried set of clothes to put on - instead of having to spend the rest of the day in wet riding gear...

My doggie
When I'm on my travels I miss my dog. People you can take with you, but I hate it when I go somewhere with amazing walks and wish I could share it with my small, furry friend. He really enjoys his walks and his joy is infectious - an otherwise miserable or tough trek is lifted by his jaunty trot and infinite curiosity in the most mundane of landscape features.
