Find out about comments
Comments were contributed to the site from the days leading up the team's departure on 12 May 2007, to the end of August 2007. The audience sent in advice, questions and suggestions to the team, as well as anecdotes concerning their own trips and biking adventures. Recommendations and memories were also sent in to the country fact files, as well as links to images, clips and links on the web.
On 8 August 2007, the majority of commenting forms were switched off - but until the end of August you can still add messages to the team on this page or information and links about your own biking adventures here. On 31 August 2007, all commenting functionality will be switched off.
All comments were checked by a moderator before they were published. During the course of the trip, almost 5,000 comments were added to the site from site users across the world.
BBC terms applied to all content contributed - for instance, they remained the sender's copyright, but they gave the BBC a non-exclusive right to use these. See the terms in full here (These will load in the page behind).
