The LONG WAY DOWN was aired in Finland during Christmas 2006 all episodes back-to-back. I didn't blink the whole time. I was so inspired that after the melt here I enroled on a motorbike course which resulted in getting my license yesterday. I've been following the WAY DOWN now since the start lap-top open on the breafast table every morning. Just wanted to thank you guys for the initial inspiration. Hopefully one day I'll make an adventure come true. Brilliant stuff! Paul

I used to get rocks thrown at me as well in Ethiopia when out on my bike (pedal power though) working in Bahir Dar. If Charlie is missing Pizza that much, I used to go to a place called the Milk House in Addis (near the Hilton) which does some great Pizza and Beer (I'd recomend St Georgis beer) owned by a French company - but not the Ethiopian government! Hi Ewan and Charley. When I heard about this trip I was hoping you might come through the West Midlands in order to get South. No news or publicity came out about this journey so I didn't know at what point you would pass through. I then checked your status and you had already left the country as it was! Oh well, good luck with the trip! Can't wait to see the show! Dan
