Transport
for London and BBC London have got together to help you get the
travel information you need, wherever you are - and the best news
is, it's completely free!

Not
only will you get told of any problems on your favourite tube or
DLR routes, you also get the latest news headlines from BBC London
- what more could you want!
The
alerts come in two ways: via email or text to your mobile phone
(BBC London news only comes with the email). You can choose to have
both, or just one.
You
can also set what time you want you alerts to arrive, what days
you want to be told of problems on your route (and what days you
want to be left in peace!).
And
most importantly, it's completely free and it only takes three minutes
of your time to register.
All you have to do is sign in at the Transport for London website.
While you are there, try the TfL journey planner, which helps you
find your way around, via bus, tube, DLR or river services.
