Actor William Shatner - aka Captain James T Kirk from the original series - gave BBC London a sneak preview of Star Trek: The Adventure and told reporter Paul Curran how delighted he was to be in London.

For the first time Paramount Pictures has allowed Star Trek's props, costumes and sets to be shipped to the UK for fans to visit and experience.

The exhibition at Hyde Park opens on December 18 until January 31.
