Bus strike in East London set for Monday

A 24 hour strike by members of the Unite union working for East London Buses is due to get underway at 3am on Monday.

The walkout is in a row over pay, with six bus garages and 58 routes across East London likely to be affected.

58 Routes

Here are the routes affected by the strike:

D3, 5, 8, 15 (including Heritage Route 15), 25, 26, 30, 48, 55, 56, 62, 69, 86, 97, 101, 103, 104, 106, 115, 145, 147, 158, 169, 175, 205, 230, 238, 241 and 247.

Also the 257, 262, 276, 277, 287, 294, 296, 300, 325, 330, 366, 369, 376, 387, 396, 473, 496, 608, 647, 674, 678, 687, N8, N15, N26, N55, N86 and N550.

The garages affected are Barking Bow Leyton Romford; Upton Park and West Ham.

Bus routes in South East London, operated by Selkent (Bromley, Catford and Plumstead garages) won't be affected, nor are those run by Thameside from Rainham.
