Calls ranged from "what is low-level crime?" to alleged police discrimination.

Sir Paul answered questions on the police's knife crime strategy, stop and search, anti-terrorism measures and dealing with sexual assaults in the capital.

Sir Paul said he had a good relationship with Mayor Boris Johnson, who was instrumental in removing his predecessor Sir Ian Blair.
