Kieron Tyler works for MoLAS (the Museum of London Archaeology Service). In partnership with PCA (Pre-Construct Archaeology), MoLAS has been excavating the Olympics site. The construction of the Olympic stadium is underway which means that most of the archaeological fieldwork has been completed. There have been many artefacts found within the Olympics site and alongside the Olympic Delivery Authority (ODA), Kieron has given a series of talks to reveal some of the findings, some of which date back to 4,000 years. For Kieron it is a great opportunity to meet the public and to get them involved in what is happening on their doorstep. last updated: 04/02/2009 at 17:01 SEE ALSOYou are in: London > Video Nation > 4,000-year-old artefact found Video NationPopular films on Video Nation right now |
